NONSENSE! It works the other way around.

If SC built coc to work only on iOS 8, it wouldn't work on any device without the new OS. iOS 8 is backward compatible--you do not need to wait for it to come out.

COC isn't an IOS specific app. It works on IOS and Android. If you think they're waiting for a release to coincide with a phone release, you're way off base.
