So basically make TH10 never-ending? Because then you need to add levels to all the remaining defenses.

Loyalty to your clan means that when there is a war, you fight.

It also means that if most of the guys want to farm all week, but you want to war continuously, that you suck it up and farm.

Organized clans solve these problems through communication and teamwork. They decide what everyone can agree on and implement it.

For those who want a different type of clan than the type of clan they are in... there are tons of other clans.

But the Opt In/Out button is just a lazy fix for disloyal, unorganized clans. And it unfairly punishes organized, loyal clans who have worked hard to get their participation up, and have compromised on how much war their clan will have (so that all members are happy enough to be loyal).
Are you part of one of those crazy "swear to me your undying loyalty or you're dead to me forever" clans?

Once again, there are *lots* of approaches people take toward playing this game. Having an opt-out button does not offer either side any sort of advantage over the other--nor is it a reflection upon a clans level of organization. It simply fits the game itself into more people's approach to playing.

I know this is a bit off topic from the awesome sneak peek. I agree with you! An Opt In/Out button is just a lazy fix.

They do that in my clan too. We have no problems with it.

Let's face it... what this is about is everybody wants 100% participation in war, right?

I mean, that's the elephant in the room here. No one likes inactives in war.

But my proposed solution is hard work, loyalty, smart recruiting, good communication, creative solutions, etc.

What most people want is a Fix-My-Clan's-Low-Participation Button.

I just don't agree with it. I don't think it is fair to loyal, organized clans. Mostly, because it isn't.

And by the way, those are some of the lamest excuses for non-participation I've ever heard. If you are sick in bed, the only thing you're likely to do is play a video game. On vacation you have no free time? What kind of vacation is that? Travelling for work? I can't imagine a better way to pass time in an airport or on a bus than to clash.

Maybe if the dude went to prison.... but even then, any good clan can withstand losing two attacks because King Suchansuch got locked up again.

I've read many times things along the lines of "there's no good reason to not have this button." I say the reverse is actually true, and no Orwellian double-speak or Top 10 List of "Lame Excuses My Clannies Gave for Not Attacking" is likely to convince me otherwise. But then, maybe I'm just stubborn and old fashion. I like Clan Wars to mean "wars between clans." Not wars between the best and/or most loyal members of clans. But that's just me.

Now you potentially have handicapped the one with 25 members in multiple ways, especially if the people that aren't even in the war are donating to war castles, or their CCs before one of it's members is going in for a war attack.
If you're not in the war, you can't donate to the war castles.

    Good news for healers?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I've watched Patrick's video and, as with any update, the forum goes mental and it's not possible to read them all.

The lava hound seems like the air tank that a lot of people were after - however does it also attract air bombs and seeking air mines?

If so, I think the much neglected healer will come into play more which suits me as I used to be a dab hand at the giant/healer army!
