Who here is hoping (I know it isn't gonna happen this round) for an opt-out feature for clan wars? The ability for players, leaders, or Co-leaders to define their CW roster would be really useful. To me (and I think chief Pat) it is the #1 feature we need. I've sadly watched so many bad things and social dynamics get messed up from CW:

1. Our clan went from 50 players down to 18 now due to fights over war performance
2. I just had a 20 minute long argument with a CO over expelling somebody who whiffed on 2 attacks in our last war we lost
3. Clan wars cause a lot of pressure and stress to perform and not all players are good 3-star raiders

What I think will make matters worse is the new update. To me, losing in clan wars wasn't that big of a deal because I would usually just waste a truckload of elixir. Currently, elixir is pretty useless and it isn't uncommon to be sitting on maxed elixir with no use for it. Unfortunately, now elixir will soar in usefulness, being almost as valuable as gold (if not more so for some players!). I've always placed low value on elixir as I've been able to farm more than enough without ever directly targeting elixir stores. Now, the elixir cost for failed CW will truly be crushing as it means less walls.

Just don't do war until your clan polishes up their skills. And about the elixer problem, I think they are going to add something to improve the economy this update.

Just wondering if people are considering a flying, loot targeting troop as the new db troop. Its an obvious hole in the troop lineup.

As they said in their twitch at the meetup, they will not be adding an 'opt out button'

This is a HUGE issue and I am shocked it is not a top priority on their radar. This and the loot issue are IMO the main two issues facing the game right now. New content is nice but they need to fix the foundation before expanding the house!

THIS IS SO STUPID jk jk jk I'm not sure if it has been ruled out. Honestly I wouldn't see myself using a flying looter, but I'm sure many people would. But since that caption says "I smell fireworks" I would think that the new DE troop targets air defense
