It could be the wings in front of his face with his eyes peaking over them batman style. It could almost be like a stony pterodactyl (dinosaur bird), although that doesnt really fit with the clash of clans theme. Im having a guess that the inferno tower does reduced damage? Maybe immune? Or another good idea would be it gets damaged by the inferno tower but is enraged when on fire

It does look a bit rocky like a golem. I would be surprised if it is a golem, because I don't see how the fireworks fit. It could be some reference to it lasting longer under inferno fire, but I don't see that.

I don't recall another instance where a troop lvl increase was announced in such a 'cloak and dagger' way.

In his YouTube vid yesterday, Chief Pat indicated he would have gameplay footage of the new troop. SC will most likely be posting a link to it on their Facebook page later.

Also, there is an obvious horn in the pic. The same one that's on the head on the top of the new DB. It is hiding behind a rock wall in the shadows. The color is removed from the troop minus the eyes, as evidenced by the gold missing from the horn. There is no reason to believe this will be a "rock-type" troop like the Golem.
