Yeah obviously not a Phoenix to me it looks like a feline creature or gargoyle but idk why they would do a gargoyle when the minion already looks like one

I do agree that minion and gargoyle are very alike. However, perhaps this could be a chance for a new flying troops, which takes up more space than a minion and is stronger? It would be more like a dragon than a minion?

I think the new DE troop is a fireball rabbit that can blow up a building -- the twist is that you can manually click on the building to target (look at SC's promo video for the recent wizard update).
