My prediction for next sneek peek:
dragons lvl 5, and arch towers lvl 13![]()
People hate losing resources. What do they do when they log off? they dump their resources into anything they can. The effect of this is seen when you're forced to skip through many bases in masters. And the ones who actually have decent gold in their storages are the ones with L9 walls with maxed defenses. very rarely do you find someone with ♥♥♥♥ walls (less than L9)/defenses with decent gold in storages. This is my experience sitting at 2800-2850 for 3 months.

OK, so now we have the ability to upgrade walls with elixir, and level 7 barbs and archers. What the heck are SuperCell trying to do with this game...
Are they trying to turn all us TH10 with maxed defences, back into farmers, clogging the lower cup levels and making like even harder for TH9 as we max out our walls?
Do they want Champs to be "user pays only", and Masters a loot wasteland that people only venture through on their way to Champs (assuming they can afford the elixir cost / immense time required to do it gem-free at low elixir cost)?
So far, this upgrade is just going to hurt anyone that's not near the end of their TH level... in particular early TH10 is going to become a nightmare of trying to save elixir, and early TH9 isn't going to be that much better...
What do you mean by that's it? What else matters more than that from your point of view? People save up elixir because they have no mean to dispose it other than training big troops to donate (which affects their raiding efficiency). \Because of the abundance of elixir, they'll have to spend it on upgrades of troops that they'll hardly ever use, simply because they have nothing else to spend on. Now they have a way to dump elixir (and benefit themselves), useless upgrades will be set back to prioritize wall upgrade aka. something that actually benefit them in the long run.
People WILL NOT save up elixir unless they have to upgrade a troop they need.
This is not about casual gamers, quote me where SC says it is. An update should be assumed to serve EVERYONE, it's not up to you to interpret its aim. Anyway, I don't know how many casual gamers you've seen so far, but 4-6 mil elixir in a week is seriously low to be considered an active player, heck even the pumps can give you around 3m a week from doing nothing. Not to mention that there're different level of casual players also, they're not the majority.
Farmer maybe fine, but this update will hurt trophies hunters who don't rely on gems for sure.

If this is what the new update is all about, goodbye trophys hello farming the boring barch trail. After the last update I started hating what this game has become, this must be supercells way of delivering the coup de grace.
