    I do wonder when the last time was SC actually adjusted something for the better. Whenever there are complaints, SC actually ignores them and keep doing their thing. Loot was adjusted once, and not for the better. It is not just elixir becoming scarce, it is basically turning a worthless resource of the game (aside of armies) into a resource that is as valuable as gold. It is turning something that was not valuable at all into something very valuable overnight. Just a one hour update and those resources are equal. This is a gamebreaker, especially as they never listen to anyone.

    Completely untrue. The progression is a logarithm i.e. it flattens out. If it is true what you tell me then upgrading everything at townhall level 2 would be as fast to upgrade as townhall level 10. Which is, as far as I remember, not the case. The first player will be at TH8 and the second as well, eventhough they are one year apart. Few defenses more upgraded etc etc, but overall progress is not 1 year apart anymore. They eventually catch up if they keep going. It is quite weird (lack of a better word) that SC decides to punish their longterm players in order to attract players whom have only been playing for a while. I would not call it "reasonable" to let players who started later get stuff faster than people who started earlier. A nice comparison is World of Warcraft where new players get instant level 90's. What happens? Massive outrage and the game is dying a painful dead.

    I'm very sorry. This sneak peek will mess things up, a lot. Hitting loyal and longterm members in order to let new players get at the same level (at least) twice as fast.

    With walls becoming upgradable with both gold and elixir, people will get high level walls much easier that means more and more people will turn to aerial troops for farming, but most current aerial troops are very heavy on elixir....so the requirement for elixir will become very important and none of it will be available because it is being being dumped into walls.

    Also tbh there are not enough inactive bases available to support the kind of demand that this update will create.

    Unless there is some change to the loot problem.......it will be harder and harder to farm.

    Farming Elixir can be as scarce as farming gold sometimes so there's no real major change? Okay you can do it x2 faster but still you've farmed them?

    I didn't even max my mines. Crappy troops because no one will want to waste elixers on you, if gold was used for donations, do you think I'll always be donating drags and wizards? It's because I have too much elixers that I make overnight donating armies. Next time you ask for archers/drags/wizzies.. and those occasional times when someone actually donates a drag/wizzie and you feel wow nice? Not going to happen cause all you'll get is archers. I did not spend gems on walls. Did you not read my 800mil++ gg? It's a lot more difficult actually farming for my walls than it is to gem them. But I did spend gems on boosting for them.

    From the sneak peek it is either or. I do not see how you get the two resources combined to upgrade a wall. You need 3 million gold or elixir.

    The only issue I have is that it might stop people wanting to donate expensive troops during war. No issue that people wont want to attack with good troops in war, I will just kick anyone who doesn't want to give their all.

    It's awesome that you can select the walls and upgrade them all. Saves time too instead of having to upgrade one by one.

    The update is gonna happen, like it or not. The game doesn't only revolve around the high level people the low levels and new players have the right for new stuff too. And if someone is happy with the update doesn't mean that he is a "lazy farmer " or a "noob" .
