Been funny to see all the people raging about the changes with lix now being able to upgrade walls. I'm not going to get what I think of this change in depth, but I for one don't care and maybe more people will be able to have decent walls now. I honestly don't think it will change much and I know I never intend to do much more to my walls (full legos and a few lava).
The thing people here on forums fail to see is that it is a VERY SMALL minority of people who focus so much on walls. I have been playing around in C1-M2 for a few months now and most of the bases I come across have very high defenses and yet only pink or purple walls. I always look at people I attack as well after the battle, and most of the people are not premmie gemmers as they have decent stats. Sure, once you get into the high M2 and above I know (and heard from others) that most people have L9-11 walls, but again, this is a minute fraction of those who play the game.
People on forums often forget that most people who play this game are casual players and do it for a bit of fun to vent after a long day of _____. Grinding out even L8 walls for many casual players is never going to happen. I for one am happy that the casual gamer will not have the chance to toss a bit more moolah at their walls. Maybe now it will be more challenging overall for the rest of us attacking them which is never a bad thing! Sure, the lazy barch farmer will complain that with too many high lv walls, their loot will be bad, but who cares. Maybe then more will focus on storage raids or carry some wb.
So to sum it up imo. I doubt the lix for walls will change much overall in the community but I understand why SC did it and I hope it helps out the casual gamer enjoy it more. As for all the die hards who already have their lavas and zaps? You wanted to do it for your own reasons and enjoyed the ride so there is no point complaining now just because others have an opportunity to better their base slightly without having to spend a bazillion hours online. Drop the self entitlement and let the casual gamers enjoy CoC that much more.

We don't fail to see it. We are upset about it, and, for everyone at legos and above, understandably so, but we know that it won't be changed.

I was saying the exact same thing, people are complaining about how they grinded their ____ off doing walls but only less than 50 have full tazers, atleast it'll help you now to spend your elixir and get them done even quicker... finally, upcomnig lavas at TH9

I don't see why because one person grinded the next must grind exactly the same amount. Its not like level 11 walls are going to magically appear everywhere. It will still take far more grind than 99%+ of players will ever want to do. If it improves the game overall, good change. I like the idea of elixir being relevant and forcing players to make tougher choices as for how to spend it.
