I'm not concerned about the economy, they will find a good way to balance that out. What I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about is the fact that you have taken a trophy and downgraded it.
It takes a lot of time and hard work to farm all your walls to level 11. Just imagine being the best in a certain sport, running for example. What if you were trying so hard to run 100 meters under 10 seconds to be part of a select group of people in the world. And what if, suddenly, that time was increased from 10 to 20 seconds. So the time you have to beat to be 'awesome', is actually easier to get to. That's how it feels. And I know this comparison doesn't hold perfectly as this can be done by just raiding for a million years and running needs to be trained and may never be achieved, but you get the idea: You only need half the time to reach the same goal.
I think walls were never meant to be functional, but more as a trophy, a long time reward for your hard work and dedication. I'm sad that achievement will never be there anymore.
