You choose to "fix" things that don't need fixing. Also this will result in elixir being scarce just like gold. Wanna know what makes it worse? I'm a TH10.

No matter what you choose to release in this update there's no fixing what you've just messed up.

So its cool to you that someone who plays the same time as you everyday but started 2 months later than you did will be able to max walls two times FASTER? Like seriously this is the best example of how GREEDY sc is for money.
I disagree that elixir income or loot will be messed up but I do hate the fact that I wasted so much elixir while people who are behind me will be able to utilize that.
My walls will be soon done so I will upgrade my th and will put my builders to work and I wont be doing walls for bajillion centuries till my defenses are max BUT my cousin will get the advantage of USING ELIXIR FOR WALLS while I wasted all that elixir when I was in his position..............

Yeah, I can do that but I'll basically have to throw out a year and a half of farmers instincts and just basically play the game as a pure multi-player battle game and totally throw out the base development angle (getting close to maxed defenses).

Of course, if elixir gets substantially more scarce I won't be able to come close to sustaining those armies as they're already overly expensive in the current M3 elixir economy especially when combined with 6-8k worth of wizard donations a season.

I don't see it as a huge problem. You still have the DE to spend on your army. I raid with Balloons/Minions/Hogs, and I haven't changed my army composition since TH8, when the first DE toops came out. I'm also not a hardcore player, so maybe I do not have as much say here. I raid only 3 times a day. I don't really want to spend more than that on the game honestly. Even with the little raiding I do, I can still haul in 1.4 mil gold and 1.4 mil elixir (profit) per day (including the stuff you get from the collectors). For me that is fine. I upgrade my stuff at a pace I'm happy with. I doubt the change to wall upgrading will make a huge difference, with regards to the loot I can accumulate. I did boosted Barching several times, just because. And the amount of Elixir you have in your storage exponentially accumulates, as the cost is measly in comparison to what you get. If you do want a lot of resources, there is your option. I just don't feel like investing all that time into the game. SC will sooner or later change most of it anyway, lol.

I Can now focus on WALLS AND DEFENCE UPGRADES AT THE SAME TIME NOW. As a th9 w/ no more elixir upgrades, this will be great for me, use elixir to farm my lvl 8 walls and gold to upgrade my other defences. If the new update only had this, i'd be happy! Thanks SC, and i told all of you they wouldnt drop the prices of walls!

To those of you with max walls, just think about it this way: you get the prestige of already having max walls before the change.
Also, if you're complaining about newer players getting to spend less time on walls, well, either way you still have a head start on walls being an older player. And you're the one who chose to spend six months on walls. It was your own decision so it's your own fault for spending that much time. If Supercell had said, "Six months from now, we're going to let you buy walls with elixir," would that have stopped you from spending all your gold on walls up until this point? Probably not, because you still got the advantage of having walls that were stronger than other players'.
