and simply adding level 12 mines/collectors won't fix the economy. i don't know people keep asking for level 12 on these when it will not change a thing with the loot.

I agree. They'd have to vamp it up considerably. Right now I'm raiding bases with 50-100k of each resource, but then get raided for 300-400k (because I'm trying to save up). Plus theres the cost of resetting the traps which can be up to 130k sometimes. So it's not like taking 1step forwards and 2 steps back. It's like taking 1 step forward, then getting in your car and driving backwards for a few miles.

This is is the same grind every th9 had to go through on the way to th10. You adapt your strategy to overcome it (stay online, put out your th, boost barracks/spell factory, storage raid instead of collector raid, etc) and if you cannot your base becomes a derelict hulk we pilfer for resources on the way to maxing our th10's.

The vast majority of the gold in the economy is from mines, so it would be a huge step in a positive direction.
