Lava hound looks pretty weak to me in the video. Maybe level 3 is not the max. Must say my initial excitement to the new troop is really low. Hopefully the hound will prove itself....

What am I missing? I come up with 30 spaces when I do the math.

True. But you can still donate to their CC before they do a war attack. You can help them scout enemy bases. You can assist them in re-organizing their bases if you know the enemy clan is leaning towards a certain attack style.

Look, I'm OK with the 'Opt Out' button - but they shouldn't be able to see the war map (this also takes care of any 'spying' accusations I've seen posted before) - or donate to a CC to a member doing a war attack.

Agreed. All of those things are true. However, you can receive donations now from people not in war, so that is nothing new.

My clan was formed long before clan wars was introduced. We have people we consider as friends, who are not into the war aspect of the game. We don't want to boot them though, as they are fun to chat with, and they are productive members of the clan otherwise. They just don't want war.

It is not "poor clan management" to request a feature within the game, that will allow us to cater to both sides.

An opt-out button is a very needed item, and I would be extremely happy to see one added to the game.
