This is my point exactly. You want to have your cake and also get pie.

If your homies come first, then that is awesome. But my loyal homies are going to wipe them off the war map. If your homies are loyal to your clan, and you are organized, then coach the homies up. They can improve. My team has coached up many poor clashers and now they are average or decent clashers.

Meanwhile, if that is just not an option, tell them when the war will start. Loyal players who know they can't attack will leave the clan on their own. They will return on their own. I know this because [spoiler alert] my clanmates do this when they are going to be in orbit on Mir or running in grueling 24 hour endurance races and have no possible way to find 15 minutes and internet access.

But otherwise, what people are asking for is a 100% Participation Button. And that's not cool. My clan earns it's participation rate. There's no reason the opponent shouldn't have to too.

I honestly can't see your point. You argue that a clan opt out button is not needed, yet your advice to me is to tell my friends to leave temporarily. That is essentially the opt out button with the unnecessary part of having someone leave and rejoin every time we launch a war. I personally want the ease of launch a war without consulting every person.

I don't believe this is too much to ask or unfair. It is the same thing as declaring your party during elections. I want people in my clan to declare there position. If they want to vote democrat, cool, if they want to vote republican thats is there choice. Understand the metaphor?

I understand you've earned your participation rate and that's cool, but my clan shouldn't have to decide wether to be a war clan or a social clan.

As far as coaching, i'm sure you know coaching can only go so far I send out constant messages to my clan saying "LURE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS FIRST" yet time after time 2 or 3 will get 0 stars because they didn't kill some cc wizards first.

You know about that thing called real life? This is a freaking game! You don't plan your life around a freaking game! So yes if my clan mates go on vacation I encourage them to enjoy them fully without having to worry about a game. They're sick? They get some rest, get well, come play when they feel like it. Real life comes first, this is only a game! So yes they deserve to have an opt out button in case they're unwell, their kid is sick, they have to prepare for a job interview, they're getting married, someone passed away, whatever life throws at them because this is just a freaking game!
I wouldn't like to be part of a so called "organised" clan like yours my friend. This isn't organisation, this is dictatorship or addiction, whichever you find less offensive. For us normal people who value real life more than clash, there is a need for an opt out option.

While i think some kind of "opt-out" button should be added.... I think it should be on the player side to choose to 'opt-out" not the leader or co-leaders choice.... You would have way to many people abusing the system of "you suck so ur not in war".

My clan has a few really nice casual players that dont like being caught up in the war drama.... They shouldnt have to leave and come back every time we want to war. Its not a hard thing to implement.
