    Right if I'm wrong here please let me know but adding a new collector/collector level wouldn't help the loot during raids at all as most collector raids come from inactive bases and if it's inactive they arent gonna build/upgrade the collector so the only benefit is the production rate and the production rate is a speck of what we can loot in a day(deep breath)....Comments?

    My suggestion is a list of current clan players with opt-in/out sliders by their names when a leader clicks the "Go to War" button. It will allow the leaders to select who is in the next war. That way, they can sideline players who can't/don't want to war for whatever reason and the clan can stay together. It will also give newer members for clans that don't have the numbers for a war feeder a chance to spectate for a war or 2.
    I've personally parted ways with two very dear clans since CW came out. I definitely get that Clans can be about more than competitive Clashing because that is not how I play the game. The Clash team understands this as well.

    Leaders selecting who can go to war presents it's own set of cons. For example, a leader could abuse that power of selection to the wrong end. A leader could consistently leave out a single player that he/she does not particularly like. I honestly think the solution you are suggesting would make the problem ever worse, and that's what we'd like to avoid.

    We're extremely aware that this is something we need to look into, and we will, just not until we start working on the next round of Clan Wars features in the future.

    The new troop is great, and I don't mind them dragging it out (I waited a year, I can wait a couple more days). What worries me a bit is that by having all this production over a new troop, Supercell is almost treating it like Clan Wars, implying that this kind of update won't be seen for a very long time, which is disappointing.

    Correct. And with many now using automated scripts to find these bases - that leaves those that aren't using these tactics with the same crappy loot raids.

    Great update so far - really hoping they also drastically increase the bonus for winning attacks in this update. Solves many issues with little downside.
