I'm still going with Fire Golem. Higher damage than regular golem, no favorite target. Possibly ranged fire attack.

If it has less HP and doesn't split into 2 when it dies then the Golem wouldn't be completely useless... also Golem targets defenses.

You didn't say this "according-to-you-new-fire-golem" would have less HP and didn't split into 2.
