I see what he's saying in the pic eternity posted it could look a bit like a bill starting just above the rocks.

A long wait for what? I didn't know when to end it, So I just decided to end it in 9 Days.
Where can you see the ears?
I think the new troop will be a phoenix because if you watch the Galadon Video the clan includes the word "Fenix" in it.
On that pic ^^^ it looks like a finger on it's right!isn't that what bats have on the end of their wings?
