for me it is not yet the new dark troop. It looks like a golem 6 to me.

We are getting most likely one new dark troop and two new levels of existing troops. Isn't that enough?

You really think someone knows the answer to this? No one knows unless you work at supercell. The only logical answer I can give you is that it follows the same path as other updates. 5 sneak peeks then it gets released the next day or day after. So with that, Saturday, Sunday or Monday

If that were the case, why is the new Skull on top of the Dark Barracks level 6 the same as the troop in Sneak Peak #4? You can tell by the cut off rhino horn looking thing. The Dark Barracks has it gold plated, which could be a level 2 version of the new troop? But the sneak peak troop definitely has the same cut off rhino horn look. If you compare that look to the look of a Golem, they are very different. Golem is very flat and has a flat top look.

It would be a significant design change to the Golem just from a level upgrade.

And why would the Golem care if he smells fireworks, even at Level 6?

I think it may look like Golem because it does look "Stone" like but I think it's too dark of an image to tell if that's a stone creature or has armor that is stone like. That could be a face mask of some sort. If you look at the skull on the DB 6, it seems to have a long flat nose. Looking more closely as Sneak Peak #4, it seems to the right it does look like it could be a mask guard of some sort.

It's going to be the level 5 dragon thats where the fireworks come into play. Fiery eyes anyone? /facepalm

Looks nothing like a dragon, but again, they wouldn't make a new barracks level for an existing troop level increase.

Go look up a level 1 golem online and compare the face to the sneak peek. Looks almost identical, just different colors

It looks nothing like a Golem. It would have be a significant design change for this to be a Golem level 6.

I know! I was waiting in suspense all day at school (because in the UK it is released at 2pm) to see the new sneak peek but then it's just some 'teaser' image of supposedly the new troop, and a nice, but not major, addition to the clan castle and army camps.

I want to see a really awesome sneak peek tomorrow, Supercell! Apparently it could be the last sneak peek before the update goes live so make it good!

Would not make sense to have a troop that only targets Air defence. There are lots of other ways to kill air troops than just AD.

The smell fireworks probably refers to an air troop, not to mention in Daddy's video he nods his head to a model bomber on his bookcase.

My guess is an DE equivalent to a balloon.
