I was thinking that too but if you look at the skull over the Level 6 Dark Barracks, it has a golden cut off horn looking thing and if you look at a lightening version of todays sneak peak, it has the same cut off horn look.

The golem has a flat head and flat mouth.

The skull on the DE barracks is the new troop.

That was my second thought since they didn't specify it was the new dark troop. But then of course, there's no need for stronger golems.

Sneak peek #4 is going to be the lvl6 golem and the new troop still has yet to be revealed. They can easily change the artwork of a troop (dragon) so I don't see why they couldn't do the same with the golem.

I'm personally not hoping for a new flying troop.. And in the pic some say its wings covering the mouth but the more I look at it, it looks like a fist with the knuckles at the top

That's not the best evidence I've heard.
1. Personal experience is negligible when discussing subjects concerning millions of people
2. You don't have much gold to offer so people that could smash you will just hit next instead. Other people are flooded with elixir too so who would raid you to get it?
3. What? If you could dump elixir to walls you'd still have millions of it just sitting there? I must have misunderstood because that makes absolutely no sense
And I usually don't say this but did you type that with your forehead?

Gold i carry between 4 and 8 mill, de id say 35k is average

yes even post update I would hold that much elixer, a wall is 3 mill. I need elixer for troops and war so id like a 1 to 2 mill cushion.

So people will still need to carry balances, even now u can dump gold into walls, and u see bases with gold avalliable
