There is no point in saving DE for a possible upgrade to the new troop. You can always get that DE while your barracks are upgrading. You can not begin the upgrade until the barracks are done.

I can't see a troop attacking a specific defence. No other troop does this.

If a troop targets AD primarily, you could just spam these in and destroy the AD, then let them move on to destroy the rest of the base with ease.

So sadly I think you may be proved very wrong.

Someone suggested turning the photo side down. I can make out a character looking in a downward direction, with something rocklike on its head, the foot of something maybe (editr a goblins hat? ) A bit goblinish in appearance actually.

I still have severe doubts this new unit would target AD. Dragon Wars are already bad enough at times. Dragons don't need to be even more powerful.
