"Because elixir is way easier to get than gold". Really? Not anymore when the update comes out! I have to agree with the critics. This is not a great idea.

This kind of reminds me of the rising gas prices in the USA and then they develop ways to turn corn into gasoline. Yeah - good idea. Not. Turning our food into gasoline? What do you think that did to the food prices? Yep - way up! Corn is in everything! Corn is in 75% of our food - even ice-cream. Comedian Lewis black once said, "F#@$! green-beans have corn in it."

And elixir is our corn to 'grow' our troops, our troop upgrades (mostly), and our building upgrades. When you make it possible to dump the elixir resource into walls (where it can't come back out), you are making it even more rare and expensive.

Get your elixir now - stock up - because elixir raids are going to be coming up 'dry' soon.

The big difference is that corn is a renewable resource - oil is not.

I don't keep track of stuff like that. I"m sure the amount I find would not be sufficient for most people. I don't raid in sessions anymore. Anyway, I do hit bases in the 300k-450k range (each resource) and full drills. I do search a lot, but rarely over 100k worth (I don't count nexts, I just look at where my gold starts/ends). I find them much more often at night in the US (after 10pm).

Edit: My point here is more of big picture one.....who owns these bases? How does a base wind up with empty infernos and full collectors/no shield?

Oh. About 100k nexts,mat 300-450k resources gained? I get that, too. I believe you. I thought that you mean that you got them in about 20-30 nexts.
Resources in Gold 2'are surprisingly good for th9's lately.


And yeah, if a base winds up that way, you're right, they're inactive.

Because all the updates are geared towards th10, pekka level 5, tesla level 8, barch level 7 etc, th9 gets no love.

But if th9 got all the same updates as th10 what would be the point of upgrading to th10?

only things you dont get as a th9 are freeze spell and infernos, and a few relatively insignificant dps an hp for troop upgrades lvls!

A maxed th9 can rock lvl 30 heroes, lvl 4 golems, lvl 2 witches, lvl 6 balloons, lvl 5 minions, lvl 5 heal, lightning and rage as well as lvl 2 jump spell!

An dont forget that for th9 farming th8 is still very profitable!

personally i think th9 players get the most compared to any other th lvl

Predictions based upon incomplete information have a confidence band that is, in size, a function of the uncertainty present in the system. With only updates 1, 1a, 2 and 2a announced, the 'end is nigh' predictors might want to wait until the full scope of the updates are announced.

My thoughts eacatly, when i was th9 i could smash a th8 with barch and 0 spells. Ill be lucky to get 2 storages on a th9 as a th10 in the same situation. Its just how it goes, everbody picks on the th lvl below them, except for th10 but they are just stuck with ♥♥♥♥ loot
