I am not bothered by the new update regarding walls, I will just get on with enjoying the game and if that means inventing new ways to farm bad loot situations then there is a challenge in itself.

My 2 cents worth is that I would like to see more challenging missions and campaigns and also the ability to be able to attack your own base to test its durability against different army combos.

You can't be serious. In fact I don't think that a single person not employed by sc can be in favor of this lunacy. After everyone spends all their elixir on walls, where do you intend to get elixir from? This means that there will be between 50-100k in Storages plus what's in pumps. So you'll have to 3 star somebody to get around 150k elixir. Using barch and 1 spell??? I don't think so. Using gowipe??? Not if you want a profit. I can't believe all these positive comments on this page. You DO realize that now when you upgrade to TH10 you'll have to gem every single elixir based upgrade right? It says you're TH9 in your info.Every time you start saving you're going to get demolished by ppl happy to see over 150k available. And you're NOT going to 3 star with tier 1 troops, so it'll take days and days to save up for max pekka and max wizards and so on. You'll most likely give up and gem. Which is what sc is counting on. This is the most blatant cash grab I've seen in my life. And I view all these positive comments as insanity, or you're all corporate shills. Please tell me where you're coming from on this, and how not being able to keep surpluses of elixir in game (which is how you were able to win enough for max giants right?) is a good thing.

I think this is a real good post though I don't know about the "Every time you start saving you're going to get demolished by ppl happy to see over 150k available" line. My biggest gripe with sneak peek #1 without some sort of counter balance is that attacks that demolish people don't even make economic sense.

Scarcity for the attacking resource means more conservative attacks which means.....extreme boredom. Having the attacking resource hit a point where it was useless meant we could just let fly. Having excess elixir in the clash economy at the macro level is really what keeps the game fun.

Marika: Are you finished monitoring the loot situation you promised that would be so much better after it had settled for a few months? I remember all the boring 200k gold bases we could find before that particular update and cant say farming has become much more exciting since then. I just needed to accept that you didnt tell the truth and attack bases with a lot less loot. It took a little longer but I can live with that.

You tried to sell us a lie then, wrapped in how much better the loot would become. Now you are trying again as bases will be harder to raid with higher level walls and there will be less elixir to raid. The difference this time is that it will stop itself because you have probably underestimated the effect on this. We need elixir to raid you know, and the ballance is pretty fine as it is.

The financial crises we are still living in shows that you can't trust people or businesses to rule the economy. Strict rules are needed or else it just collapses. You just removed one that assured there where allways enugh resources to build exciting armys for every one..

You just got feedback, now go monitor the situation. Ill bet you 10k Gems that you will spend the next year correcting it😜

Bingo at least you understand what they are doing it's a shame that the other 75% of the posters in this thread actually think this a good update when it isn't.

Also the another thing that the "w00t great update omg fanboys" are also failing to realise is they will need to use more wallbreakers now to get the same loot compared to previous.
Reason is simple stronger walls so yet again more elixir will need to be used.

Anyone who actually thinks this is a good change needs rethink and look at the bigger picture or what Supercell are actually doing here, it's a massive money grab to make people spend more on gems.

As a TH10 with half of my expensive elixir upgrades done I'm glad this is over and done with and good luck to the new th10 players after this update comes out, you think loot is bad now just wait and see what will happen when this hits and you need to save up 8mill for dragon lvl4 or camps at 6.7mill good luck with that.

much needed update for me I am maxed TH9 in defense and grinding legos. All my elixir were wasted till now and hereafter it wont

As an clanleader i'm not sure this is good for a clan.

People will upgrade a wall instead of donation troops in ck.
And in cw it will be worse because it doesnt count and you get no xp

Many clans will suffer from this, i am happy my clan is steady and not greedy so i hope the donations in my clan will keep Rolling.

But for many clans it will be hard.

And i think SC also know this and There will be something to inject loot, or else nexting will be to hard. (Maybe dubble the loot bonus after winning a flight)

lvl 12 collectors never will be enough to balance the loot

Lol, I love the rage in this reply... I can just feel it. I'm with you 100%. I really don't see this benefitting many apart from TH8 and under.

I'm TH10 a few months or so.... And for the first time ever in this game I'm struggling to get elixir.

For anyone who's TH10 and maxed all their elixir troops, camps, spells. GREAT. But for the rest of us? Not so much so.

My only hope is that upgrading walls with elixir comes with a catch.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of the for/against or in relation to their TH level.

If SC don't do so something else with the loot to balance out the fact that elixir will be non-existent now.... It's gonna be a crazy time here on the forums.

I'm also hoping that this may have been mentioned first as it's the worse out of the updates and everything else will be so fantastic....we'll forget about elixir for walls now.

If this is allowed to happen ALL THE SURPLUS ELIXIR WILL VANISH OVERNIGHT. Then what? How do we win elixir to max out troops with? How do we even win enough elixir to sustain the ability to attack, since you'll have to get every storage basically 3 starring every attack in order to win about 150k elixir. You can't 3 star with tier 1 troops, so you'll have maybe 20k profit per attack using giant/healer and no spells. And if it goes badly, and you miss even 1 storage or pump, you'll lose elixir on that raid. Even if it goes flawlessly it'll take 4,000 attacks to win enough elixir for max pekka. C'mon let's be real here... Who's really got the patience for that? Plus the closer you get, the harder you'll be hit since you're the only poor dumb bástárd who has elixir, and half the community will be gunning for you. It'll be next to impossible not to gem, mark my words, you'll all give up and gem. Or you'll quit playing, and that's not right either since this game is "Free to Play". This update is sc's way of saying "$21,000,000 a week isn't good enough. I've got a huge coke habit, gimme more." I propose that if this greed fest is allowed to happen, that we do a 90 day boycott of sc to remind them that we are the ones they answer to. I've bought an insane amount of gems. Enough to pay for 25 ppl's game play. But I did it of my own free will, and this is going to make people that really love the game have no choice but to gem or stop progressing. That disgusts me sc... Shame on you!
