forgive me i did cite the new update. but speaking from a th9 they are spending on new buildings from new update reducing loot at th9 lvs as well as others still spending on their upgrades which makes it less across the board. even premature th9 got something with extra wiz tower costing only 180k.

Ok. So are you suggesting that people spending 180k is resulting in a substantial loot reduction? If so, that supports my argument not yours.

If you're suggesting that the other changes (CC, and Tesla upgrades) are doing it, I suppose that is possible. However why would those things prompt huge gold expenditures outside of the norm? Unless most of the targets were already maxed (not the case), they have tons of stuff to spend gold on already.

Furthermore why would those things affect TH8 loots?

You would have me believe that nearly every search you do yields 200/200 or more resources. Quite frankly, I don't believe you. It doesn't really matter though. I demonstrated that it does in fact make a substantial difference for those of us who routinely see bases that are below the cap.

it's because i buy gems to pay for all of my upgrades... one does not simply play this game without buying gems. those who don't suffer from across the board loot cuts! haha

Jumped in late here. Not complaining at all--still getting plenty of loot (down a little since the update but enough to make ends meet ) Just don't get the gemming thing at all.

There is a new golf course down the street from where I live. The course is very challenging and lots of fun. Playing there can be very competitive and it is not easy to get a decent score. The course is free to play if you tee off from the regulation tees. If, however, you pay to play, you can tee off from a spot closer to the hole. Some people pay very large amounts which lets them tee off from only a few feet from the hole. They have by far the best scores at the club, and certainly better than everyone that plays for free. But the golfers that play for free and tee off from the regulation tees don't mind not being in the top ranking because they know why those folks are there, and actually wonder why those folks would want to trade money and the opportunity to really play the game--all for an artificial high ranking in a game.

on topic.. I been finding 200+ bases all day just gotta search about 5-15 times... but it's really not that bad of a gold investment for the return... why don't you guys post your cup levels and how many nexts it takes to get a 150+ base. im at 2200 atm

I'm assuming a lot of people saved for the update. Yes most of the new toys that came out were for TH 9's but that doesn't mean everybody else wasn't saving in anticipation. At TH 8 you still have a lot of expensive buildings to upgrade and I'm assuming a lot of people left some builders open for the update. Could be the problem was that everyone saved up and TH 8 and below didn't get anything so they spent all their gold on upgrading everything else. I'm not saying the loot thing doesn't suck because it most definitely does. It's just not the end of the world.
