Considering you have to be older than 14 to get a job, no. There are 9 year olds that play this game, why not make them get a job aswell? No buddy, this would unbalance all troops.

They want you to buy and spend gems yes but not with unfair advantages. The gem boxes have nothing to do with what you're implementing.

They give out gem boxes in the game because giving out a small number of gems (ala obstacles, gem boxes, and achievements) keeps players interested. The draw here usually being builders.

The big secret is that SC likes farmers and people who don't gem because the game needs players in order to function.

Telling a 14 y/o to get a better job is um...inspired? It's good to know who I'm dealing with through their comments I guess.
