How to win a league??

Initially you get out into a league which seems to last two weeks.

To my surprise I was upgraded to the next league once I reached first spot and sufficient trophies, just after a day.

So tell me, how can you win a league if players don't even stay in it for the full two weeks? Wouldn't it have been better to keep all 100 players in the same league for two whole weeks and then pronounce the first one winner?

Is the winner the one who is nearest the maximum required trophies? That would be ridiculous because it would mean aiming for say 1799 cups and not more or you'd go up to the next league.

I am puzzled.

There's no winner. After two weeks, the leagues are simply reset and you must raid again to join one.

That is absolutely ridiculous. This can't be right, sigh.

I am not asking for a prize. Just the honour of seeing yourself in the same league for two weeks and take first place. If they move you to another league before the end what's the point???

some of my clan members were already saying they'd do everything to win their league, and even out their town hall inside, but after reading this it'll be back to square one.

I do hope this get tweaked.

It still doesn't make any sense to me.

It is like moving up a football team halfway through the season because they are ranked first or have reached a certain number of points.

Leagues and subcompetitions are a great idea, but don't start moving players between leagues before the end of the so called competition!

So what's the use of having leagues and a two week competition if there's nothing to win and when you get booted up or down from 'your subleague'?

you can't win a league, you win it... what?? mind F'ed... even more puzzled... on topic I get what people are saying doe... wouldn't it be more considered trophy ranges than leagues? why 2 week limit if u aren't in same league as you started? doesn't make sense and no real incentive to participate other than regular raiding and still won't make people value their th by putting inside

I was pretty annoyed too when i fought my way up to 1st in my league only to get instantly promoted to bottom of my new league only positive is I get 100 dark elix for winning now.
