The ranking system for the top clans doesn't mean anything, some of the clans in the top 10 have minimal wins and one even has 0 wins. The ranking system should not go by number of trophies, but by a different system which I will explain.
Every clan should start out with 1,000 points and gain or lose points with wins/ loses. The amount of points gained or lost should depend on the record and/ or amount of points the opposing clan has.
For example, if clan A has 1,200 points and a record of 8-2 and they beat Clan B who has 1,050 points and a record of 3-2, then clan A would only gain a small amount of points. But if clan B would win the war using the same scenario, then they would gain many points because they had fewer at the start of the war and their record was worse.
The amount of points gained or lost depending on previous amount of points and/ or record is up for discussion. Also, please give me feedback about this idea. Thanks!
EDIT: Changing the clan ranking system to this format will get make the game more interactive in a way. More players will strive to be at the top, which in turn could mean more new players to the game because they want friends to join their clan. There are many other positives to the players and to Supercell that I won't go into, I just hope that this idea will be considered for the game.
EDIT2: To the people who are confused about this, individual trophies would NOT be changed and players would still be placed into leagues how they are now. It's the clans that would be ranked by points instead of trophies.
