Player mods have worked on other games very successfully. They are ambassadors for the game.
You don't have to have them in there all the time. The knowing that they are out there would be enough for some of the brats to change their ways. And the ones that don't Pmods will pick them up sooner or later.

Language barrier is not an issue. All I ever see is English on global anyway.

Come on. The way they have global at the moment is ridiculous. Every game I play you choose what channel you want to be on. Not with this game. Your shoved onto what ever one the system says and then you meet some nice people to talk too, loose connection and never see them again.

They do it this way so they don't have to govern it. As a now multi million pound company this is totally unacceptable.

They would never have to introduce a team to monitor Pmods that abuse their entitlement. All you have is a report mod button next to their name which would be sent to the Dev team just like the report button. If found they are abusing their ability they be punished more so than an normal person. All of which would basically be put in a contract before they except being a Pmod.
It's a system that would work.

If it were then there would be a bigger penalty.
It isn't all about how much work the Dev team has to do. They get paid, it's their job. This is so we can clean up global and make new players feel like they are welcome, not afraid to say anything.
Not just new players. I personally like talking to people on global, and when I come onto it anyone that was being nasty soon disappears and we have a great global chat. Next time you see Queen Lyka you will see what I mean.

Erm... I've gotten banned several times for just saying 'Hi' in global. People will report you just because they can report you.

See this is why I have no idea why the mod put my thread onto another person's.
They must just think we are whining and don't give a crud.
People report because they feel they can. It makes no odds sometimes on what you say.
This lad that was banned comes across as intelligent and kind. And that is something seriously lacking on most in global.

But that idea just opened pandora's box since words like "g600k" "Erse" "Dago" "Fart" "Email" and "Skype" are censored words...What the heck is g600k?! I kid you not, type it in Global, it's censored.

g600k probably gets flagged because of it's similarity to a slur for an Asian.

I have no idea what that slur could mean.
It is a pretty stupid thing to get muted for in my opinion.
