I like everything about leagues, except the fact that on chats you are not able to see players levels! Please change that
Hello Supercell team! Hi Steve/Marika!
I want to present mi new idea for your league system. I am sure that this system would motivate really our clashers, let me start:
Same bronce,gold,gold 2,etc leagues....
First time classified by trophys.
Then 10 teams in each gold(silver, bronce, etc)league.
7 days until the end of the league. During 7 days you have to attack all 9 teams of your league. Each star you win during the league battle is one point(max.3 per battle). Maximum you can win 27 points in 7d.
During the week you can attack for the league (max.9 battles) or like normal.
During the league battle you earn no recources only stars. If you do not attack your 9 opponents then you can win less stars/points.
Last 2 teams after 7d of the league loose the category(example go from league gold 1 to 2 etc.
First 2 teams promote to the next type of league.
Only the best team wins at the end of 7d a percentage of the resources he would have won from all 9 league battles.
For example imagine you win 10k gold/elex each battle in total 90k gold and elex. In bronce league you win only 5% that means 4500 gold and elex.
In gold league for example 10-20% etc. Only for the winner.
Which benefits has this new league system:
-almost no new things to add to the actual league
-much more action,competence
-not really more loot for you to give is
-the 9 battles could be shown like the revenge battles, green light means opponent is available to attack
-clashers would try to promote to higher leagues to win more resources percentage
Bad points from the actual league:
- no motivation to promote or be first of my league
-unpersonal league,i do not care who is un my league
-if you promote too high with many trophies the enemies are way to st ring
-insignifanct loot bonus per win
-a real league has real oponents and positions in a league table
-in my league system both is important a good attack but also good defenses
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT MY IDEA?
However thanks for creating this spectacular game,i am addicted!
The rest os your last update is awsome, great job chiefs,
Nico(Jamaclan)
Ive played around with the new leauge and loot system and i dont like it. I dont see the point in leauges....what do we get out of it? The loot ive been seeing wont even cover my army cost. The bonus only helps when you have high trophys and to get up there on defence wise you dont need much resources anymore. The loots always been hard to come by but now its about dead. I am th9 and i understand penalties....but that dosent change the face that 90% of my choices are 30k loots.
They need to either up the loot back to where it was or throw a little bit more into the bonus. Im not saying a lot into the bonus, but at 1600 i think i get 6k. Maybe up that to 20k. The leauges should be used in a more game friendly manner instead of taking places of levels. Add some bonus to being in the top 5 or top 10 and each time you advance up a leauge they should give some incentive like maybe a free gem or 20k resources....but only once per advancement so people dont jump back and forth collecting.
We want levels beside our names....it has been part of us since we playing .....now we have to visit and find out their levels......there is now difference between a level 20 and level 80 now.....ur plan to get high levels in higher leagues wont work this way....SO GIVE BACK OUR LEVELS
I went to the top of the league, got attacked twice and won, then was promoted to the next league up. So what is the point of the league again? Don't see any advantages to winning a league or even caring about winning the league. More loot can be had by playing a lower league and isn't loot what it is really all about? The bonus is nice but not enough to make me want to take on harder opponents all the time. I need gold and elixir to make things happen in my town period! Trophies really don't have any practical value to a person trying to build up. If the reward were truly valuable, maybe it would attract players to try for more, but as it is, their is no incentive to care about the leagues.
Well the feedback is pretty unanimous...loot bonus is too small, and there's no other incentive for people to change what they were doing before.
I agree with everything you have said but in my case SC have succeeded somewhat in what they set out to achieve. I had my farming sweet spot, I was happy and played often. The changes introduced in the last patch have forced me to increase my cups by 300 to find reasonable resources because my sweet spot resulted in a negative loss since the update.
Note to SC choosing to take a path is very different than being forced to take a path because you want me to. Being forced against my will breeds contempt & resentment, that is where I am with SC at the moment. As a player who has spent far far more money per month on this game than on any other mmo, RPG or otherwise, I am disinclined to ever spend money again on coc because I can't trust that you won't make further decisions that will force me to play the game the way you want me to & not the way I want to.
this is it in a nutshell. I've probably spent somewhere between 100-150 bucks on this and in fairness, up to the last patch, didnt regret it. CoC had given me my moneys worth of enjoyment. But like you I won't spend a penny more now because I resent being told how to play a game, and doubly resent being told something when the underlying reason is greed, not in the name of making CoC better. I get enough hypocritical mantra spouted at work, without having to endure it in my free time too.
