knowing the addictive hold they have over you, you are more likely to throw in another $50 to get back on level.

    now my 2cents..
    - WHAT UPDATE? i play it as i did before the update.. and the update before..
    - free g/e is always welcomed and it adds up.

    league aside:
    - another WT at TH9 totally lobsides TH7 attacking for loot bonus. way way too hard and perhaps not worth the effort anymore. so this in essence protects the higher TH.
    - shortened lead times for spells are warmly welcomed!

Not at all, actually. You don't know me at all, I don't know where you're coming from when you say that. I spent money on this game once, 6 months ago, solely to buy more builders. I'm not a sucker for freemium games, and even if I were, I don't have a small fortune to waste on a game for my phone.

I get bored with most games very quickly, so I'm amazed that COC has held my attention for so long. It has only done that because of the enjoyment I get out of raiding villages and upgrading buildings; if that suddenly becomes quite literally impossible for me to do, like it recently has, I simply have no other choice but to stop playing, as that's what the whole game is. I'm already losing interest in this game, and I really don't want to lose all of my interest in it altogether -- SC shouldn't either.

    Thank you Illustris and ZachUVA,
I just tuned into the forum this morning with my early morning cup of tea. i started at page 40 of this thread and...the hating. Oh, the hating! It hasn't been this bad since a) Marathon bars became Snickers or b) the last update.

You guys at least inject some perspective and try and balance a bit. The more angry people seem to be about this update, the more I want to defend it. Feel free to reflect on the irritations, forum, but be friendly about it.

Now for the next 12 pages...

I made a comment yesterday before I headed home from work, saying that I didn't think the loot bonuses were poorly thought out, the response I got was think about it at 2000 trophies you lose more than you get, think about it.

There is a lot of hating on the thread about how people want more loot, now I am not saying that the loot amounts are correct I am not saying they are incorrect either, but my general feeling is that they have been rather well thought out for what they are trying to achieve. This is a dynamic system and I really think it should be given time to play out a little. with new variables been added to the system lets see how peoples trophy levels readjust to the new incentives before we start criticizing how little they reward it. Remembering also that making the loot easier to get adds new problems to the system that you wouldn't have expected. You don't want exploits that destroy game balance.

IMO, to err on the side of caution is preferable, and I have thought about it...

I'm hoping this is all a dream, and I will wake up....
This is the first time I can honestly say that clash is losing its "fun"
I have endured all the other updates, and found ways to still enjoy the game....
Here's to hoping that everything gets better....

P.S. Dang, why are there so many splintered threads talking about the same matter
Idea I had sitting in my brain, but lacking CanadaX21's photoshopping skillz. Great work making this, and for posting in this thread. I've repeated it as it is the most ideal solution yet put forward. Scrap the I II and III messy business, and work just on colour badges. This then identifies (and shames? He he he) high levels and those that farm or trophy hunt. Coolsville.

Could we see a small nerf to the Defensive Towers?
And thereby hangs the rub. For everyone who complained that the wiz and mortars and xbows negated each other in targetting, they also benefitted from this when making an attack. This stuff evens out, as always. Now you can defend better, hooray! Now you face a harder defence each time. Boo!

Just wanted to say thanks for the great update the majority of us appreciate the hard work you all put into this completely free to play and still enjoy game!

People will always find something to complain about no matter what. I'm not sure why the word greedy is thrown around so much when there has been numerous time reductions in the last few updates and multiple ones in this update...spells twice, heros, mines, pumps, upgrade times for de troops almost cut all of them in half! All of this Seems like the opposite of greedy too me.

People just need settle down and relax its just a game after all!

    6. Why do upgrades have negative implications?? ( such as hero down time)

To balance out the increases in power. A better hero means more down time, a better troop means more cost for said troop
Heros cost more for each level as do regular troops, there is no need in increasing its sleep time. It seems like you want to milk players trice.... costs, upgrade time costs, reducing the sleeptime costs (every time), don't you think it's already enough to charge for 2 things?

If you got time to answer my previous question what exactly has been adjusted on the wallbreakers, I would be very glad. Thanks

banbandit Seriously, you guys complain for extra loot?
I gotta say that I prefer no additional over a pitiful amount as this is just a slap in the face... believe it or not. People know how much their troops cost more, they know how much a higher trophy count gives you in return and they know how many towns/hour you can raid.... = summary is that the loot you gain via trophies doesn't qualify to even think about raising your trophies out of your farming area.

BaMiao I understand that the bonuses look small now. Keep in mind, though, that other people won't stay put in trophy count. Right now, the only people at 2000+ trophies are high level people who are just going for trophies. Farmers, even at high levels, were content to stay in the 1600-1700 trophy range, because that's where the resources were. Now, there's extra incentive for farmers to go up in trophy level to get higher bonuses.

When the high level people move up, that leaves room for you to move up as well. Right now, there's a glut of high level bases in relatively low trophy count. They set up the bonuses to encourage them to move up and create a more even distribution.

Just wait. In a couple weeks, you'll probably find yourself at a much higher trophy level. You probably still won't like the bonus you get, but it won't look as ridiculous as it does now.
Why should any TH9 or TH8 go up in trophies when their targets are exactly at 1400? Nobody is moving from the honey pot until there is a second honey pot advertised. You are talking about getting from A to B and how great B is going to be without having enough petrol to even attempt to drive. No reason = no climbing = no change in positions....

Blobertson The reduction of loot you're seeing is just normal post-update behavior, it's not caused by the 5% reduction of the loot in storages.

The league system is a work in progress. Getting the framework in place is a huge step forward.
there is a 5% reduction, now or tomorrow, so whenever someone would have "200k" to loot from storages alone, you won't have the same amount. However for this to happen, someone needs to be exactly at that storage level, if someone got 1 or 2 million laying around, nobody will see anything from it.
