The update is great, except obviously the loot. I have a few ideas how to fix everything on that front:
Gold, elixir, and dark elixir come into the game through two methods 1) Collectors and 2) Gems. If you look through forums and someone asks "Should I upgrade my collectors?" you hear a litany of replies on the lines of "Nahh, u get moar from stelazings!". The problem is, if everyone steals and doesn't invest in their collectors, they burn through the stealing on whatever upgrades and don't put much back into the economy to be stolen. The majority of the stolen loot out there comes from inactive players, or players saving up for something big who have stolen it from inactive players. Most active players burn through things quickly on walls -- that's why after the 25 new walls at TH7, the gold in the economy has been awful and is taking a while to restabilize.
So to fix part of the problem, everyone needs to max out at level 11 collectors, that will bring in a lot more available loot into the CoC economy and will eventually make everyone get more in the long run. This kind of phenomenon is known as a collective action problem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collect...action_problem)
The next ways to help the problem is on supercell's part. Making league bonuses be given the same on a 1 star vs. a 3 star was possibly the most confusing part of the whole league mess. I put all of 5 minutes thinking about this and I came up with a perfect solution:
1 star = 20% of the bonus loot, 2 stars = 75%, 3 stars = 100%. The reason being is 1 staring someone is trivial -- you put your townhall outside and thats that. Two staring someone is far more difficult and requires strategy and sometimes more advanced units. 3 staring a high end base is almost impossible unless you go completely w♥♥♥♥adoo with the very best of the best units and rage spells. So lets use an example.. Right now I get 5700 gold and elixir no matter what I do. With the other system in mind, lets say the 5700 was a 1 star loot, 20% of X = 5700, solve for X, we get 28.5k gold/elixir. That's still a little low for almost 1700 trophies, but anyway, if I 2 star the person, I would get 21375 or so, which actually is pretty decent since it's a bonus. If I go out and slaughter the guy, I get my full 28.5k.
Guess what, you then give someone incentive to really play the game and use more units and you don't allow people to take advantage of the bonus loot.
One final comment, make level 12 collectors and make them pump 6k per hour, everyone will be happier for it.

The fact that your a level 60 says alot aboit your position on this game... You just dont have the experience to know where we are coming from....
250 walls x 200k.... Ill let you do the math and then figure out how long it would take for you to farm that much gold... Especially now with the loot reduction.... And thats only lvl 7 walls... Lvl 8 are 500k a piece x 250 walls....

I have purple and black walls so I am pretty happy with them. I am going to max my walls to all black within this month I would say. It's pretty good for someone only playing for 2 months, no?

Steve has done the courtesy of trying to respond to various points here and there. And we all have a voice.
But, there's a way of expressing frustration, feedback, suggestions, etc, without foaming at the mouth. If it continues, I fear Steve and the other staff members will tune out. And that's just a lose-lose.

In troop donations instead of just donated how about donated, received and net? This would provide clan leaders with way more information on its members contributions.

League System is nice but can be improved. The amount of elixier and time I have to increase an army for higher trophy counts doesn't reflect in the slightest on the league bonus. How about including player level and take the current numbers for lvl 10-20?
Could we please have specifics about the numbers loot bonus and upgrade times have been reduced and how wallbreakers have been "fixed" to better understand what is intended and what needs to be posted in the bug forum.
The gem reward is another thing which needs overhaul. Obviously the amount would't give anyone able to get it anything and therefor meaningless. I really like the idea to make it about clans donations.
