I don't think the problem is the loot bonus as it is loot penalty. As of now the only thing worth raiding with is archers, barbs, gobs. Before I'd use giants, healers, gobs, archers, barbs, balloon and occasional dragn. But with the penalty's, at th8 It cost me 50k+ gold to find a decent fight with loot and on top of that not enough elixer to cover cost of troops. So now everyone will zerg with barbs and archers to reduce cost of raids. The high end troops are now useless.
Truth be told, I had my doubts when Level 10/11 Wall, Dark Elixir, & Heroes came out, but this update firmly reassured me of SuperCell's willingness satisfy its customer. The bug fixes and interface improvements are much appreciated. The idea of League System is quite nice, but could use some tweaking. Overall, one of my favorite updates yet. Keep it up and clash on!

I didn't know about the loot bonus beforehand, and now that it's here I think it is an insult and worse than nothing. The league features and hiding experience confuses people about what is really important, (and people were already confused, stunting their growth at level 40 by trophy hunting, or rushing to TH9 to cripple themselves.)
Regarding loot bonuses, I think it was incredibly wise to start small. Most of the people complaining about the bonus have little understanding of macroeconomics -- what happens if you suddenly introduce a TREMENDOUS amount of resources into the game for every single win? You'd get horrific inflation, that's what! Everyone would have level 8/9/10 walls! Keep bonuses small and scale up only if it is prudent to do so.
I think the single most significant change to the game, more so than the league system, wallbreaker fix, etc., is the splash damage freeze bug. Splash damage is going to be much more effective than it was previously, and is going to wreak havoc on armies that rely on mass cheap units (barbs, archers, goblins). I've already seen multiple threads complaining about how "lower level THs" are suddenly stronger than they used to be.
Edit: Just a caveat -- my comment about the bonus and inflation only applies if this bonus is generated from thin air rather than taken from the defending player.

those 3200+ dont care about loot...
My ideas:
- Minimum 200
- trophy reward for champion instead of loot
- better loot bonuses (All of bonus loot comes from defender, this is an incentive to put th on the inside)
- level icon to appear again under shield, a few posts back has a good example
- new de storage/some way of getting a shield when de storage is attacked by lightning (lightnings are destroying me now, and no shield from it, so it keeps happening)
- reduced clan castle 5 cost (4/5million?)
- ability for leader to send messages to selected members (or elders?)
- ability to send messages more than every 12 hours (not really sure why you did this?)

I'm confused (again). Why is it that the top 200 people have both their league badge and level showing, but in my little league, there is no level indicator (not needing the badge, obviously). Oh wait, the top 200 don't need a badge either, as they're all the same. Why is this? If we are to be moving to a level-free display, how come the top 200 are exempt?
