How Leagues work

All I hear everyone saying is, "I'm an ungrateful child who set their expectations too high based on rumors floating around the forums."

I hope everyone realizes SC operates just like Apple has over the last 6-7 years. Release a decent update, but not do everything they're capable of because they can sell their product longer. Just think about all the iPhones out there and the minimal updates between each one. Keeps people on board.

I'm not sure why you think complaining people will stay on board.. It's a lot easier to get a new game in the app store than to change cell phones.

this was really really really dissappointing, Im gonna stck to my trophy range for farming....

I plan to be in Gold II or Gold I as i'm only TH7.

That amount of resources won't really make a difference but Champions are lucky for what they get even though that will probably not help them much.

and as with any update or change, Ill adjust my strategy.


(part of my love for this game is the endless strategy implications, and creative freedoms/choices at our disposal. thumbs up on that Supercell!)

However, being a TH7, and getting no DE loot bonus (unless I can make it to a rediculous high Troph count) is disapointing; since we can only raid for the stuff..


it is still free game to play though, and the farming aspect of my resource gaining strategy has not been greatly affected. So no big whoop..

(But) I still feel like there is much to be desired from the new League system. as I still feel like trophies are not all that important, even with this new 'incentive' to gain/keep them.

Well, this will be new and exciting. I am a little disappointed on the loot/win bonuses. They seem very low imo.

The loot bonus aspect of this update is a HUGE let down. They teased us with leaks that showed a decent bonus then gave us ♥♥♥♥ on a plate.

talk about a huge disappointment. i was very interested and read the bonus and thought 'why even call this a bonus?' if you get this for one staring someone, maybe it has some value, but i assume this is cut into 1/3s and you get the 'whole' bonus for a 3 star.

If the current bonuses were per star earned, then this is close to what it should be to add incentive to the game.

to increase competition, s/b able to attack anyone in league with more trophies.

Also the winner should take over that person's position in the league.

Instead of a round robin, like baseball, the competitive environment is more akin to march madness bracket.

too bad the rumors where not true.. but hey, it is still free loot. just stick to whatever form of strategy you were using.
maybe one day they will raise the rewards Either way, we shouldn't complain.
