I agree with everyone who says to find a new clan!

I don't take into account GG when accepting people to the clan - but I can see the value in it. Low resource achievements can not only show that they use gems (couldn't care less tbh) but that they aren't that active- choosing to do the odd raid here & there and rely on collectors.

There's not necessarily a direct relationship between some peoples stats and their in game performance. Farming can be at the expense of wins ... Trophy pushing can be a sign that someone TH snipes. But over all they show a picture of who you as a player are.

If people don't like that move on to another clan who will appreciate you more.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using gems, but many people like to show off their achievements and view other people's achievements as well. There is no need to ruin this aspect of the game for everyone else just because someone wasn't impressed with your achievements.

Achievements like "Gold Grab", "elixir escapade", "Heroic Heist" etc indicate whether you buy gems or not. They serve no purpose other than for sour people to use them to attack high level/maxed out players for their own lack of skill and money.


Out of kindness I was pointing out a clanmate of mine to adjust a little bit of his army composition so he could sustain 2 stars more easily in war, what I got is "oh ya I wish my mom would let me use her credit cards too..." clan chat was eery silent for a few seconds, and to my surprise no1 came to my defense despites my consistantly 5-6 stars in war plus 4k+ donation per season.


I do not understand why some people are so sour towards others who spend real money in game. If you like something you spend money in it, to me its all acceptable and nature thing to do.


Anyway, back to the topic. Those achievements must be hideable by the players themself. I think I would receive much more respect if I can choose not to show people my achievements. Just like in real life, people would hate you and be jealous at you if you have more money and better things than them.

Anyone who hides their achievements would be rejected from any decent clan. If you're hiding it it means you have something to hide.

It wouldn't matter. The Achievemnt Hiders would open up the achievements right before joining any decent clan that they're good enough to join, and if the clan's players have any skill whatsoever with the game, they'd be able to tell if he/she was good at the game or not.

Achievements are a nice indicator when people are requesting to join a clan, but biggest interest goes to donations, raid wins and war stars gained. Rest is just nice to know and even then they do not often tell a correct story. For example I have the highest gold grab in my clan, but only due the fact most of the other guys had peaked to 100M before the achievement were introduced where for me it tells the real story.

Leave clan and find one that appreciates your contributions to it (including sound advice). Why stay anywhere where your value is determined by a statistic that has no bearing really on your skill.

There is some prejudice in this game against people that use gems, which is a bit silly.

No need to hide the achievements. Just find a clan that is more accepting of people that use gems.
