Edit : For me, gemming is all about spending your time the most efficient way.

Imagine you have 6 hours. Now either you can play the game for 6 hours and make progress, or ~ you can earn money by working for those 6 hours and convert money into playtime with even better efficiency.
Since, an opponent can gem all he wants to in this game, he will never face me as an opponent. it's not PvP

I once had someone come to my clan and accuse me of being a massive gemmer, because I had five builders... He said basically gemming is cheåting, and that he didn't want to play with cheåters, and he left the clan.

Guess what... All he would have had to do was look at my profile, to see that I had farmed my base.

People will find a way to discriminate against you. Who cares? There is a lot of useful information in a profile, to help leaders decide if a player will be a good member for their clan.

why do you want to make difficult for others?every good clan looks at your achievements because they show /estimation how long you have being playing,if you are a good clanmate,war hero,pusher and skills before they even look at your base.one of the major cons of gemming is that they are unlikely to play for a long time once they run out of money.one of my ex clanmate stopped playing because level 20 queen cost 100k de,he didnt have the stamina to farm it and for this reason good clans want you to have good looking achievements whether you are a gemmer or not

The only one who can see it are your clan mates and people who might revenge attack. It's not like some random person can click on you and say oh im gonna attack this gemmer.

Achievements like "Gold Grab", "elixir escapade", "Heroic Heist" etc indicate whether you buy gems or not. They serve no purpose other than for sour people to use them to attack high level/maxed out players for their own lack of skill and money.


Out of kindness I was pointing out a clanmate of mine to adjust a little bit of his army composition so he could sustain 2 stars more easily in war, what I got is "oh ya I wish my mom would let me use her credit cards too..." clan chat was eery silent for a few seconds, and to my surprise no1 came to my defense despites my consistantly 5-6 stars in war plus 4k+ donation per season.


I do not understand why some people are so sour towards others who spend real money in game. If you like something you spend money in it, to me its all acceptable and nature thing to do.


Anyway, back to the topic. Those achievements must be hideable by the players themself. I think I would receive much more respect if I can choose not to show people my achievements. Just like in real life, people would hate you and be jealous at you if you have more money and better things than them.

Yeah because the billions of dollars we give them isnt enough. If only the top 500 people gemmed, supercell will still have more thsn enough money to stay alive and well. Its not like they have more than 3 employees anyway xD
