I think Supercell need to add a couple of logs. So that members of the clan can view who started a war and who donated the troops to the CW clan castles. They also need to add check boxes to the members. So each member of the clan, can tick themselves pro war or against it. If they are against it, they won't be in the war. So a clan of 50 with 20 against, will look for a 30v30 war.

Sounds like a lot of weak leadership in the clans then. Make smart picks on who is co. I personally just kick people that dont want to war. I make it very will known we are a war clan and thats what is expected of you.
Who cares if clans are falling apart because of wars? You do realize before clan wars there was no reason to be in a clan and the game title "clash of clans" made little sense right?
Ok 1 you can see who started a war and that shouldn't even be a problem, and opt in/out button should exist because then it really isn't fair to the 30 person clan full of people who war against a 50 person clan with only 30 people who war but only they selected to war
Yes it happens and like any game, there are just some players who don't take it seriously. I was in a clan where weak leadership, poor readiness and bad team spirit destroyed the clan and war made it worse. I think, at the crux of it, it really boils down to if you have the right core of players who will war versus play for the heck of it. I think everyone else has great feedback too but this was a great response. I had never thought how weird the name was before clan wars haha
I'm all for an opt in button, always have been... could care less about who donates what as a team effort is a team effort.
Really? You would be cool with a clan of 20 lvl 50s going to war with you that has 10+ lvl 100+ giving them support troops because they "opted-out"?
Because we all know that's what will happen.

Yeah... because no one can do that now right?! I disagree with you on it for sure as clans already do it now.
I'm sure a few clans would do that but it would be FAR outweighed by the clans who use it as a way to not have to boot/re-invite, create separate clans or any other stupid bandaid method of working it right now. People against the opt-in button are a vast minority and it makes me shake my head every time someone tries to post a reason why it could hurt the overall war experience.
Make the leader the only one who can press the big red button... Also I fought in my first 10 on 10(last clan45/45), I enjoyed it a lot more knowing all 10 clan members were going to use both attacks, and knowing our top three members were going to get 18 stars. Leading 28/25 with a few minutes to go, lots of sniping #2 for nice loot..
with10/10 are there many 30 all draws??...
