Depends on your TH level. I really don't care for them until they are LVL5 but they match up well with about any decent meat shield. I use mainly giants to pave a way for them to pave a way for my PEKKA's.

I'm incorporating 10 wizards in to my BArch army during the wizard event. 90 barbs, 70 archers, 10 wizards. Takes like 24 minutes to train. Only done two raids with it so far, but man the wizards make a very noticeable difference.

Just for the hell of it, as it is event, I'm trying mass wizards at th8.

For the event I did a 55 wizard army. A lot of dps but very vulnerable to giant bombs They need meat shields to be successful.

Giants for farming or Golems for pushing/war

I've been using 20 giants, 64 archers, 12 wizards & 4 wall breakers, been taking about 30mins to build & I boosted spell factory to make sure I have heal spells cuz Wizards + Giants + Heal spells = OP

You could do healers too but those are a bit tricky & I find them unreliable, the 10 gems for 2 hour boost on spell factory is well worth it for this event.
