Top players in the upper clans get gem rewards at the end of each clan tournament, so dont assume thatthey waste their money. They usually blow it all on walls.

That's just the top 3 clans and I believe the top 10 players share in the spoils. That's 30 people out of how many in the top 200 alone?

It's not a waste of money if you enjoy the game. Me? I've spent maybe about $30 on the game so far. I don't get enjoyment from being the best, I enjoy the grind and the building of my village.

If others require to spend hundreds or thousands on the game in order to enjoy it more, good for them. I don't understand spending that much money on a mobile game, but it's not my money.

I'd rather take that kind of money and go buy a few thousand rounds of 5.56 and have a fun day at the range. To some people THAT'S wasting money, but I get enjoyment out of it.
