Prior to the update, many th 9s have resorted to using anti hog designs to combat those daring little piggies. However, with the addition of the new update (the giant bomb part especially) hogs have now become obsolete. On the other hand, hoggies are still dangerous to those who arent prepared, but this puts us players at a standstill, do we attempt to use an anti hog design on an off chance hogs will be used against us? Or do we take our odds? I say, we do both. Hogs cant survive against a clan castle packed with wizzies or witches, especially if its unlurable, well protected xbows will allow for continuous fire against hogs, though its not an anti hog design, hog users will have trouble tackling this design. Thus i am happy to present, the void
The Void

Pros:
- centralized and hard to lure cc
-pointed up xbows allow for air coverage as well as a decent ground coverage range (up to individual players discretion)
-base is 99% symmetrical
- good equalization of air defense and splash damage towers
cons:
-straight off the bat, this base requires a full cc, and having a major defense (air defense, xbow, etc,) upgrading will cause the base to be less effective
-is hoggable dependent on the opposition.
-elixir is exposed (if this in fact is an issue, feel free to switch elixir and gold storages)
Overview:
This base is designed primarily for gold protection and separation, with a small emphasis on de protection. Each side and corner of the base presents its own problems. Giant bombs at the corners will blow up any gobs willing to touch your elixir, hidden teslas on the side either lure your giants into two spring traps or two bombs. However, the real beauty of the design is, where you do start? The hard to lure cc has one weakness, the left side of the base (lurable with hogs or giants), but that is counteracted by the emphasis on splash damage on that side. Any other side except that one will give the attacker difficulty in luring the cc
Common occurrences
- Many attackers have used giants on the sides of the base, the lure with the teslas have been successful in taking many of them out
- attacks from the corners often times include goblins, to try and snatch some elixir and gold if lucky enough, however, gobs would proceed to attack collectors instead and go around the base instead of in
- not many attackers have exploited the weak side
- cc has terrorized many raids, especially with two witches inside
- base is highly susceptible from giants in corners
