    New spell. Slow

    New spell called SLOW. Can NOT be used as an attack spell (only defensive). Covers same area as existing spells and is pre-placed in ur base so when u get attacked the attackers troops speed gets halved whilst in that area. Affects both air and ground troops in that area. If attacker troops don't go in the area the spell is not set off and remains till it is set off in a future attack. When using this new spell remember it will be using a spell slot so if a person has 6 SLOW spells placed around their base that person will have NO spells to attack with. I will not be leaving any costs or upgrade costs for the spell coz I believe that is supercells job. I look forward to feedback on the spell idea positive and negative.

    This would make defence way too OP. People would trophy climb just on defence and not get much loot taken. Farming becomes the norm and you can actually gain a substantial amount of trophies while farming. I don't see this happening.

    Sorry mate. I tried searching but couldn't find a slow spell only used for defense. Would still be great to have the option out of 6 spells even if u don't use the slow spell having the extra rage, heal, lightning, jump or freeze.

    This is better suited as a trap.

    Where are the stats? This is YOUR idea, not Supercell's. I can't tell how good/bad it is.

    Also, there are no defensive slowing spells, but traps have been suggested that function the same way.

    Believe it or not people are already trophy climbing on defence without much loot taken lol

    Like jump spell it would start out with a short time length. Perhaps 5secs then each upgrade will add an extra 3 secs to the previous. It only covers the same amount of area as other spells do and once a troop is outside the circle they resume their normal speed. This idea will involve upgrade of spell factory also initial cost for the spell and upgrades. I still stand by the fact that I'm not an expert in estimating three figures and supercell has more experience in doing that so I will not be putting forward anything towards the costs side. I don't see this as a huge change in the way the game is played and operates as someone suggested. We will adapt and change accordingly so there is definitely room in CoC for a feature like this new spell.
