Note: I actually got this idea from someone else on global named Aspen Goodman.
He says that there should be seperate channels for people recruiting people for clans and people that just came on to talk. I completely agree with him, though to add on to him I think there should also be a button to report someone for talking in the wrong section so people won't still recruit in the talk section.
Don't forget about a "Hookups" tab too . . . Jk (kinda)
The concept and idea of this separate tab would be nice, but i doubt if it'd stop people from recruiting in Global as there's no way to prevent people from posting recruiting messages. Plus many times those being recruited don't realize they're looking for a clan until some Champion shows up and then it's a feeding frenzy of "Champ, invite me, I'm level 32!"
A nice idea but I think the Mute button works just as effectively for people tired of seeing the same person repeat hp their join message while having a conversation in global.
Also, while pushing for trophies, I often go onto global to recruit, but like the previous poster said, I don't actively ask people to join. I just join conversations and people ask me if they can join. Should I be reported for that? People aren't always joining global chat with the direct purpose of recruiting, but that's not always how things turn out.
Do you honestly think this would work? People would just recruit in all the channels. The report feature is a joke. People can and do get reported for anything. I have no idea why you think this would work at all.
