I love this idea! Would love to see it implemented. But regarding making name changes, it should be required that the original clan ranks "Elder, Leader, Co-Leader" can't be added as one of the new names.

Personally, id prefer the idea of having the option to change these names. Sometimes elder may relate to someone being old, and sometimes leaders dont like the idea or a co leader, so replacing the names may help personalize the clans. If it is nessecary, there cam be an extention to the clan info to list the rankings of the clan ranks (1-4)

Agreed, when i started my clan, only people silver 1 and under have elder, because i knew gold 3+ usually are strict on what troop they get.

I know this is going off on a bit of a tangent but I'd like to move away from ranks all together barring leader and coleader (coleader only to deal with issues of leaders becoming inactive). Instead members could be issued with medals based on the skills they could offer to the clan. Ie A Tactician medal would mean the person was good at giving tactical attack advice. The ability to send clan messages during war would come with this medal.
Medals would be given to members by the leader and would appear in their profiles and next to their names in the clan list. They could also be taken away. Players who leave the clan would keep the medals until they join a new clan. Therefore a new clan could see the skills they offer when they view a person's profile before accepting them. The leader of the new clan could choose to reinstate the person with these medals upon entering or not.

Now I just thought of this five minutes ago, so I mean its probably full of holes. Please feel free to tell me to get stuffed and make my own thread. Just. Well you know....."Supreme Coffee Maker"

Rathwr than just medals, how about the leaders can give a description of the members, like their history as a member or labeling someone "Supreme Coffee Maker" , to help with socializing. Evem my idea is flawed though, some people can be mean with descriptions, but some people can be described with more than set medals too. This coyld pose a problem. Or, we can drop the description thing, but thats no fun

It can plenty affect gameplay. Leaders would be able to have more control over the clan. Btw, this can help get rid of hoppers that kick by limiting the permissions of elder

Yeah, actually Leaders have pretty much no customization on their clans.
