Shielded REVENGE should be a MUST!!!

I read the stickie that said Revenge against a shielded opponent should be ruled out; however, I think you should take a moment and think it through this time instead of dismissing the idea. Here are my reasons for the ability to attack a shielded opponent during REVENGE.

1. It always seem like when I try to get Revenge the person has an active shield and I no longer have an opportunity to get back my looted resources. The person who got attacked should be able to attack their aggressor despite the shield in order to gain back looted resources.

2. Waiting until the shield has expired is unfair to the defender. I did not initiate the attack, but I have to wait until they are ready or have used up all of my looted resources before I can get revenge. That does not seem fair.

3. Getting Revenge on someone who attacked you with an active shield would not eliminate their shield but it would only add to it. So if they had 8 hrs remaining on their shield time you would be allowed to add to the time to make the shield last longer but also providing the original defender a chance to recover some of their looted resources.

4. They started this fight!! Why should they be allowed a reprieve from further hostilities? If they use up all the looted resources than I am fighting for honor. If they still have my resources then it allows me an opportunity to get some of them back!!!!

Please, think about it. It makes sense!!!

It's a nice thought however with the revenge option you can watch their base everyday to see if their storages are full and when they are attack!! Maybe have the revenge not affect your shield instead, but attacking a revenge target that is shielded wouldn't be fair battling however I do think we should have a timer for their shield so we know when it would be possible to attack!!

This is my biggest pet peeve.

The easier it is to revenge someone, the easier it is to be revenged.

While you might have a handful of people you want to revenge, how many people out there want to revenge you?

If you have more people that you want to revenge then you have people who want to revenge you, you are doing something wrong....
