depends of your level.

Depends of the level of your troops

Depends of the level of your spells

regular Troops > dark troop > spell

If you rely too much on spell to win, you will burn too much elixir. You must learn to win using the less expensive troops

The way I did it was I worked on the troops I used to farm first (archers and giants), and then worked on troops I used for war, spells I used most, then worked with the other troops I only occasionally used. Hope that may help!
