    Make raids more realistic?

    I was looking at a replay of someone raiding my base and I thought the way some defensive buildings operate on their own seems silly. The way a cannon, mortar, xbow, AD and inferno tower lock on and start engaging opposing units all by themselves. I invite you to consider the idea of having a troop to man the defence. Of course, the stats would say the same but there would be a character to sit at the base of the x-bow or load motor ammo into the mortar before firing it. It just doesn't seem very realistic having the motor shoot infinite rounds of flaming rocks at opposing units.

    However, once the defensive building is taken down. The pilot of that weapon would run to the town hall and seek refuge like the builders and the other NPCs do once the attacker deploys their first troop.

    Just an idea to make this awesome game a little bit better.

    Hi there,

    This could be a nice little addition. You could go one extra step and try and create images of what you intend.

    Also consider that this doesn't change gameplay, but uses more animations. Supercell may want to avoid this due to the potential of lag on older devices (I'm not sure on this, if someone could correct me if I'm wrong).

    Thanks for your feedback!

    However I don't think the lag will be an issue because no more than 5 defenses are usually firing all at the same time, so it should lag up to much. But a solid thought, thanks for the comment!

    Maybe that's what the villager ladies could be doing during a raid.

    It would be very unlikely, however that doesn't mean it won't cause lag.

    Apparently, Supercell will eventually stop older devices from playing completely and therefor this can then be implemented. But I don't see it being much of an issue looking at all these animations already, this would'bt much of an animation.

    I think it's a slippery slope once you start getting into the whole "realistic" updates to the game.

    The first thought off thr top of my head would be why wouldn't your troops just target the human operator of each of those defensive units? If no one can operate it, you don't have to destroy it to stop it from firing at you.

    Also, one lightning strike should be able to kill one human, so you could theoretically take out any of those defenses you mention by killing each human operator with one single lightning strike.

    I think making things more realistic raises more inconsistency problems and to make those inconsistencies make sense will eventually affect game play.

    One last example: when my TH is outside in a corner, why would my villagers run into the one and only building that's being attacked? It's as though a robbery were taking place in a neighborhood and all the neighbors piling into the one house that's getting robbed.

    It's not realistic, but it truly doesn't change gameplay so no biggie. I'd rather see game-changing updates myself
