I haven't maxed a TH yet. (I've said I maxed TH 5 but found in an old pic that I still had a few defs left to do) and I'm a TH 8 almost maxed (not including traps, Teslas, or ADs)

What exact do you mean by "rushing TH"? Are you suggesting that we max everything available at that TH level?

Rushing being bad depends on severities. You do not want to be a th10 with level 1 cannons. But you do not want to (always) do the other extreme, max every single thing (wall included) depending on th. Th9-10 is the only place where I see maxing being efficient.

Nice TH9 base otherwise.

The biggest reason not to rush a TH is that you will open the door for higher TH to destroy your base. i.e. at decent TH8 with near max loot, 99% TH10 will skip you because they have 50% loot penalty. If you have the same base with a couple th9 new defenses, then it opens the doors for all TH10 (only 10% loot penalty).
