"LOCK DOWN" a clan by the leader

My clan is experiencing a lot of problems with vulgar hoppers... guys who join and start spewing hate, racist comments, and profanity. With kids playing in my clan, this is totally unacceptable. I kick these individuals and change the clan status to 'closed.' However, they manage to get back into the clan. I do not know if one of the elders is inviting them back. Or maybe these individuals are allowed to come back for a certain amount of time after an invite has been accepted. I don't know.

Anyway, there should be a way for the leader or co-leader to put the clan on 'LOCK DOWN.' Meaning, lock it to anyone wanting to gain entrance. Especially it would be locked even if an elder or co-leader makes an invite request.

If its Closed then even Invites shouldn't allow a player to join.

I agree. I closed it, but somehow they get back in! So closed is not really closed. Closed right now seems meaningless if guys can still join after receiving an invite. Closed either needs to be changed to nobody joins, even invitees, or create a Lock Down status.

The best thing you can do is to take screen shots of the comments and email them to Super Cell. Super Cell are great at sorting things like this out and a lot of the time culprits are banned from CoC for a while.

I was under the impression invites worked regardless of the status of the clan. If the clan was closed however no one could request to join. You could only join if you were invited.

Issue solved but I want to point out the title was very confusing and that you should try putting more "worK"(Derp) into it

early on I sent a request to Join a clan and got a message back that it was Closed.

Sounds like a Co is opening long enough to Invite them back in and then Closing it again.

But I have not tried sending an Invite to a player while we were closed.

That's the question I am trying to get answered. The question is... While a clan is closed, can an elder or co-leader still send an invite, and subsequently, can that invitee accept the invite and join the clan? If anyone knows, please reply. Thanks.
