Vacation button

I'd like to see something like a vacation button that you could set up for 1-7 days where you won't be able to go to war. This would remove you from the player pool, but you wouldn't have to leave the clan to not mess up the war. Just went for a week of camping without any cell service and had to leave the clan so that I didn't mess up the clans chances of winning.

Might also be fun to have trap doors that drop you down on a bed of spikes or release some kind of animal like a tiger or lion. The more you upgrade, the fiercer the animal.

Great game by the way. My whole family is sucked in, including the wife!

Even more annoying when your above 3200 and can't buy a week shield. Your kinda screwed

I wasn't trying to work around the shield idea. I felt that if your gone for the week you should use up what assets you have and whatever is stole while your gone is just a donation to whoever took it. My concern was the clan. I'm the highest ranking player and would totally mess up any war that we entered. We have a lot of younger players that don't like to loose just because I couldn't take on #1 & #2. It's especially a problem when you have a small clan of just 11 or 12. Your clan gets totally worked if your not there. I'm only in the 2200's so I didn't know about the shield not being available. The game is still a lot of fun regardless, and it's great that they take suggestions.

if those are your concerns, the easiest and already available solution for you would be to leave the clan and rejoin once you return from vacation. It's really quick and effective. No need for SC to create a vacation button.

Another reason why they won't create such a button is because they'll lose out on revenue from 7-day shield purchasers.
