So sick of pushing next to find a collector raid. What else can we do?

Farming in Gold 1 Crystal 3 is really starting to kill me. I'm really getting burned out in this game just cooking barch armies and clicking next for 10-20 minutes, spending 75-100k gold on average to find a 200k+ raid.

What else can we do? Should I try putting Giants into my army and just start raiding people that are 75k+ loot? I just seems like I spend a ton of gold finding these collector raids, only to yield a 100k gold profit, and i just wasted 20min of my life.

How do you guys farm? what do you look for? what army do you use? what is your minimum gold and elixir you'll raid a base for?

Giant barch is what i storage raid with in gold 2 or giant barch with healers and hogs in crystal
I also use balloonion

Was OK with the 1 gem boost but it's terrible again. I'm in C1 atm and there is nothing above 200k unless it's a champ farming.

how about raiding any base with 100+ gold? the people who come on here and complain about loot are usually the people who only attacking collector bases or 250+ gold bases. you are not supposed to be hitting next that many times thats why there is a price. attack a dang base.

Loot here for me at G1 is just okay. Very few collector raids I will agree.

Ok so here's my problem. I would attack a 100k base immediately, but how do you tell if the 100k is in their collectors or their storages? Because a base with that amount of loot's collectors and storages are both going to look empty. If you go after the collectors and the loot is in the storages you just screwed yourself over.

I'm a bit bored right now and struggling to keep my builders busy. I gave up on barching and have been looking for loonable bases with no luck. Whats the ideal place to be right now?

I used to barch with boosted barracks and I'd find a ton of abandoned bases, but for about a month or so, I've been implementing giants into my comp; There are simply no abandoned bases anymore. I'm currently at 1950 or so cups, and there is no loot whatsoever; Not in collectors, or storages. Yesterday I boosted 4 hours worth of barracks with this composition: 22 giants, 5 wallbreakers, 35 barbarians, and 55 archers. (I consider myself to be above average on farming in terms of efficiency, strategy, execution), and I was only able to come up with 4.1 mil. Worst loot weekend ever. I don't know what is going on, but it wasn't like this before; Even after the update.
