    Trees outside bounds

    Greetings Pingfao, props for you for an excellent base design. I have a question regarding the trees in the outer rim, outside of the clearing. Why do you do not destroy them? Do they serve the purpose of blocking spawn zone, or is it for cosmetic purposes?

    "Forest Fire" was added during a recent maintenance break as a summer event. At level 5 and above, Mortar volleys have a 50% chance of setting pine trees on fire upon contact. This fire causes DOT (Damage Over Time) to nearby troops within a range of 1-3 Tiles.

    You had me going there.

    How do you get the trees to spawn specifically there! Push back spawn and wait for them to appear?

    I am a new PingFao believer....
    but, am i doing it right?



    I really wish i could move my level10 elixir storage a little into the middle but other than that, so far so good.

    Lol that is far from right... Copy his base exactly (corner walls)

    im in love with this design 3 motars constructed and still no one gets in

    ^^^^ look at first screenshots and copy exactly... You have 6 or so walls spare so something is wrong


    Could you please explain why the wall breakers are targeting the wall in this picture, shouldn't they go for the first corner? Otherwise it makes the outer step a waste doesn't it?

    I'm pretty sure they are just targeting the walls farther away because they are a level weaker. Once you upgrade them to the same level it should work.

    Survival of the Fittest. Whichever trees spawn on the perimeter get to live.

    Looking good! As suggested, I would try to replicate the corners as well to keep the design's original functionality.

    Due to the WBs' path-finding algorithm, which I will not discuss in details, there are certain exact deployment locations/grids that will make WBs go for those inner walls instead of the intended corners. They are somewhat this design's nemesis, but require very precise deployment. I suspect the attacker luckily mass deployed there aiming for the strips. No biggies!
