The code is [VIDEO]. I'm impressed you're in the 2100's with the Hybrid version. I have no experience with it passed 1800's. Do you use Balloons for defense often? They seem effective in your video.

Thanks, I've just sorted it. I fell asleep trying to stay online to raid again with them in my clan castle, usually I prefer archers or a wizard/archer mix. I didn't think they'd be so effective - favourite part was how they fell down afterwards and destroyed groups of archers. Highest I've gotten was 2224 with the hybrid base but then I lost 4 attacks in a row before I won again, which is quite unlucky.

Great job on 2200's! I honestly thought the Hybrid version could only go up to 2000's before getting destroyed by 2 and 3 stars. I'm still floating between 2100's and 2200's with the Trophy Hunting version. Been having a couple of REALLY irritating 50% losses against 1900's revenges.

PingFao, a few questions. for a 3rd AD youve replaced one of the gold storage.. where did you end up putting that gold storage?

Also, going to TH9, what exactly would you change? The AI/funneling you have seems to work no matter what... How will the addition of the extra walls affect that? along with the queen.


As im not trophy hunting i could care less about putting my th in the middle and love the castle design. Recent defenses have been amazingly successful.

Everything is included in the OP with the exception of the current Trophy Hunting version, which is being tested. Check out the screenshots in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

I hop around between DTP and aDTP quite often.

I honestly have no big plans for TH9 just yet, and will most likely wing it for the first few days to test out the new toys.

Way back in the day, my base looked like this, and lv6 troops still couldn't take more than 50/50k.

Recommended, but not necessary. When I was using this design, I didn't use giant bombs and it still worked really well.
