Starting a Clan
For me this may be one of the hardest struggles,
for picking a clan name and starting a clan with 1 member may be hard to manage.
1. Pick a Nice Catchy Name, without too many clans that already have the same name. (so that people wont have to go looking for your clan over and over)
2. I highly recommend that you start with a good friend or family. So they can help you recruit faster and better people. Its better to have people you trust, then those you never meet in your life.
3. Don't put the requirements high or invite only when you start a clan. Also don't try to only recruit people that's better than you. (highly chance, they'll leave)
4. Global chat is the Best way to recruit, but there are other ways to recruit. There is the league settings, where you can see 100 people in your league. Find people who dont have clans and invite them. Invite also people you attacked or got attacked who dont have clans.
5. Don't start Clan Wars just when you got 10 members. This is really bad, cause not all players who join are actually going to stay for Clan Wars. Having started with 10 players and later having 5 leave in the middle will put you to a definite loose in Clan Wars.
Get Solid players who donate and are active who are actually going to stay a while, and then start war.
Managing Your Clan
Managing your now pretty good and steady clan is still hard and is at risk.
1. Donate what is requested to your members, always, many members may leave because of wrong donates. Keep and steady full of Wizards and Archers because that is what most people may request for. ( donate quickly also, dont hold a req for more than 3 hours)
2. Don't promote random members to co-leader. Elder is still a position that is risky to random strangers but CO is the worst to hand out for free. Not all Clashers are nice and friendly, They may ask for co, get co, and then kick out all your members.
3. Stay active, you are the top person of a clan. And if your not active, then your clan will probably start back at Square One.
4. Get Interactive with your members, No one likes a boring quiet clan chat. Get to know your members, through this way you can feel what person is more trustworthy and is not a hopper. Interacting may also help decide your elders and cos.
5. GOOD LUCK, luck may also count in this matter. I saw a clan where it was full of masters and crystal and the leader was a Level 55, silver league dude. Now may the odds be ever in your favor!
